A MAJOR TRAIN WRECK AHEAD?
Another guest post from my colleague, Bill Corbett
Methinks they might be. The mainstream media pundits write articles referring to the madam as the already incoming House leader under the assumption that Madam Nancy is going automatically become the House Speaker again. Madam is assuming this is going to be the case, and old-line Democrats in the House are also of this same assumption. I’m going to venture out on limb and make a prediction.
Methinks they may be in for the shock of their lives. Methinks, also, that this last election brought a crop of new left-wing Democrats who don’t give a diddly squat about House rules or tradition. Methinks they are hell bent on getting their way, and they will throw old traditions and decorum out the window in order to accomplish this.
When it comes time to elect a new speaker in the coming days ahead, Methinks the Madam may face a rough challenge, and these new leftists will raise Saul Alinsky type hell to create any manner of chaos if they don’t get their way. What’s ironic about this whole affair is that Madam and her minions have been pushing for more leftists in the Congress, but they may become victims of their own actions.
I hope I’m wrong, but methinks we’re going see Saul Alinsky style antics of disregard for rules in Congress during the coming two years the likes of which only happen in third rate countries. Saul Alinsky was a nihilist. Nihilism does not respect the rule of law—just the exact opposite. Nihilism, among other things, is total rejection of established laws and institutions.
The disruption and outright in-fighting methinks we are about to see take place in the Congress will make past street riots look like Sunday School picnics. There likely won’t be destructive property damage akin to the street riots, but the chaos and disruption could be more damaging to our republic.
So…will the next two years be the beginning of a major train wreck, or will the people of this country (even Democrats) give President Trump the help he needs in the next election to put America back on the track to greatness again? I certainly hope so.
